SAVANNAH, Ga.Foram Group, an accomplished team of real estate business professionals headquartered in Savannah, Ga., recently sponsored and hosted Hestia Artists’ Residency inaugural event at its new events venue at Starland Village, a multi-use development bringing together Savannah’s newest destination for food, shopping, wellness, arts, culture and residential living.

Hestia, the world’s first nomadic artists’ residency, invited a writer from Oakland, a musician from Burlington, and a muralist from San Diego to collide in Savannah for eleven days (Feb. 22-March 3) of living and creating from three of the city’s most eclectic home-shares. This special artistic extravaganza ended with a steller evening celebration, “Ruckus & Revelry: Our First Fete,” at Starland Village’s events venue located at 2201 Bull St. (the former Epworth United Methodist Church).

“What an incredible start to what we hope will be a ongoing series of vibrant arts and cultural events under our roof at Starland Village,” enthused Foram Group President Travis Stringer. “From streetside murals, a public Artist Alley, to rotating artist installations and more, Starland Village will reflect what we’ve come to know and love about this uniquely diverse and artistic-inspired neighborhood.”

The Foram Group also recently sponsored Geekend’s Pitch Circus; a contribution made in an effort to help organizations like The Creative Coast push forward a more innovative Savannah.

“We’re extremely passionate about infusing arts and culture in the work we do here at Foram and for the first time, the Starland neighborhood will enjoy a vibrant place to gather and participate in a variety of community and cultural events right in their very own backyard,” said Stringer. “We’ve already had a number of enthusiastic conversations with leading organizations in Savannah about hosting future events in 2018 and beyond.”

Built in 1912 and the former home of a longstanding church congregation, the events venue at Starland Village is unlike a typical multi-use space. With a castle-like steeple overhead, stunning historic architectural details scattered throughout and beautiful natural acoustics, guests will experience a glimmer of the past but within a revitalized, contemporary space.
